This site has an incredible amount of information that is so valuable to Sea Ray owners, is it backed up on multi-location servers? What would happen to our information if Jim decided to no longer maintain CSR? What happened to all the SRO data when it shut down?

This is the single most valuable site for Sea Ray owners on the web and it would be a shame to lose it for any reason.

Thanks to Jim and BOE Marine for their efforts to maintain this place for all of us!

Agree 100% Invaluable info here, would hate to see it disappear.

Yeah I remember when Jeremy shut down the old site with absolutely no advance notice. I was not happy to say the least.

(I am not saying that Jim would ever do that).

Yeah, Jeremy shut down SRO cold turkey with no advance notice... a couple of weeks after I sent him money for a gold/lifetime membership (or whatever it was called). I still have a hard time thinking about that.

This site does have invaluable information. I also thank Jim and BOE for keeping this one alive!

I think Jim backs the whole site up to a thumb drive every so often and keeps it in his glove box for safety.

Leave it suffice to say that given the dollar amount of the offers that Jim regularly receives to purchase this site, he has it backed up.

'nuff said.

Nothing to see here. Move along, folks. MM is just trying to start some end of winter trouble.

It is backed up daily. The guy that runs (owns) the server company is a CSR Member and Sea Ray Owner. I honestly don't know how frequently it is backed up or how the backed up data is stored, but he has assured me the many times I have freaked out that data is lost that it is all perfectly safe. And he has always been right. We have a good arrangement going. I try not to bug him much, and in exchange I have a person in him that I can contact directly in case something goes awry. Instead of calling a call center.
