Is 303 still the go to for isinglass cleaning/protection?

"303" is a brand of products. I would not use the FabricGuard on eisenglass as that is what I think you are referring to. I have not used the eisenglass (clear vinyl) protective cleaner. But knowing the 303 brand I am sure it will not hurt it if that is what it is intended for.

I think I have read that the Fabric Guard will cause the isinglass to yellow and do not get it on the clear. 303 does make a Clear Vinyl Cleaner and Protectant, but it seems to be to be hard to remove. I have been using a flannel cloth to remove. I might give the 210 a shot.'

Thanks!

Replace…. $100… no maintenance

You should be careful in attempting to clean with the 303; it is not a cleaner. Spray it on and wipe off before it completely dries.
210 on the other hand is a cleaner and polish but not a protectant.
My process -
First I rinse and cool the vinyl. Then gently wash with a mild soap to remove grit, bugs, Bird S!#$, and soot using a soft brush and clean microfiber cloth.
Then wipe dry and apply the 210 liberally then immediately with a clean microfiber cloth I clean in a circular motion then wipe and buff, and polish until the 210 is completely removed.
Finally I spray a mist of the 303 on and wipe it in again with a clean microfiber then with a fresh microfiber I go over it one more time to remove any residual 303.
Quite a process I know and probably why I do it only twice a year.....

I did not read the IMAR directions and wiped back and forth the first time. Looked ok. I then read the directions where it said circular motions, aggressive I think. I did that and it made a difference. Like you I removed the pollen and "stuff" first with a mild soap and microfiber cloth. No, not 303, but same directions.

In doing exhaustive research on the various grades of rolled vinyl and polycarbonate enclosure window materials, I found that almost every one of the manufacturers highly recommend the use of IMAR Strataglass cleaner and polish ONLY.
I read it first on the Strataglass site and figured that of course they would want you to use the product they make and sell to protect their products. But then when I read the care instructions for Tuffak and Crystal Clear, they both said to only use the IMAR products and that Never use pledge or plexus or any other cleaners like boat soap. A big factor too is to not use detergents in direct sunlight and allow to dry on the surface... that's an obvious thing to avoid.

Like @KevinC suggests though, always best to rinse any salt or visible dirt/dust off with plenty of water first, then apply the cleaner/polish of choice.
I found it interesting that the Strataglass's competition suggests the use of their products for the best care of the plastics.
