Anyone have any experience with the IRIS205 Nightwatch Thermal Imaging Camera?

I've been considering a Raymarine/Flir T200 (the winters are dark in Seattle - and we boat year-round).

Just found this company and product, and it's quite a bit cheaper than Raymarine/Flir's offering.

Maybe this market needed a bit of competition!

Interested also, but I'll be damned if I can find any examples of screen shots from the thing, pricing, or really anything that would compel me to buy.

Ok, scratch that. Found a reseller online after digging a bit. Looks like it's in the $2400 range, but there is still a LOT of missing information. Hell, doesn't even mention if it's NMEA2k compatible.

I reached out to their US sales head and got a response within 24 hours. They're showing in Miami, I think. He wasn't showing at the Seattle Boat show (this week), unfortunately. According to Raymarine they and Flir will have new cameras introduced in Miami that are supposed to offer more competitive price points. Hope so.

Great technology but with all the advances made in recent years it is long overdue for a major price reduction in the marine market.

Odd that there's no information on cost or even where to purchase.
