There was already an AUX on the Clarion and an iPod jack behind the couch down below...don't know why sea ray thought to put it there? I am pretty sure he used a splitter on the AUX, one for the exisiting and one for the new one at the helm.
So I'm in the process of adding my Ipod to the helm. I picked up this and the non-FM modulator version of this. Installed a new 12V plug in the helm dash, right next to the cup holder. Going to power it this afternoon but I have tested the 3.5mm to RCA and it works GREAT! I'll post some pics on completion. Ipod within steering wheel reach. Lovin' it.
