iPod bracket recommendations

Has anyone found a good bracket for their iPod? Last year I had the connection over by the radio and I just put the iPod in the cupholder by the cooler. Risk of water damage and wanting to put the music selection at my fingertips I was planning on moving the iPod over to the helm area.

What you wanna get is a RAM-MOUNT product they are the best I've seen for anything. They sell mounts and brackets for just about any item for any type of vehical.

Call the people at http://www.e-mount.com/ they are supper helpful. I bount my GPS mount from them and they sent me different parts so I could get the right fit and then even paid to the shipping to send back what I didn't need. Great Customer Service
 
search "ipod mount" on ebay...lots of different mounts available. Some with built in charger.
 
those emount look nice. I would love to get one that connects to the window support. I am using a connector that charges the ipod and gets the audio/video signal from the connector on the bottom of the ipod so I need to be able to plug in that connector.

Like I said RAM-MOUNT sells anything you can think of so I'm sure they have exactly what your looking for.

www.e-mount.com is just a great place to buy them in my opinion.

I mounted my Garmin 3205 on the window support so I know they have that part you just need the IPod part. I bet they even have a docking type where you can leave the wires connected and just dock the ipod. Also they are all metal and rubber and coated so they will last probably forever.
 
To all of those who use charging docks for their Ipods be aware that the battery of an Ipod is desingned for around 400 charges. Though they say these batteries do not develope memories, each time you place them in the charger it charges... thus reducing your battery life. Info only.
 
I am looking for a cable that plugs into the bottom that will carry 12V power and audio out. Anyone know where I can find that cable?
