Inverter Question

kaz911::
Actually any advantage is so small its not worth bothering over. In parallel your placing a copper wire between two points both pos or neg. It doesnt matter where the voltage is applied, as the whole line is 'live.'

I understand the reasoning.. the charger is connected to the battery post, therefore the closest battery gets charged first.
Thats untrue, actually the strongest battery will get charged SLIGHTLY first as there is less internal resistance**. (ohm's law)

**THIS is one reason why you need SAME battery type, same lot number, etc of the battery. The natural internal resistance should be equal to the other battery, thus ensuring an even charge between the batteries.**

Should you put a Group 34 and a Group 27 battery in a bank... your ASKING for a battery to fail.
