Well as most of you have read, we sold our beloved Weekender a couple weeks ago. After narrowing down and identifying out boating priorities and style with our new Florida life, we decided we wanted a 24' Laguna CC with twins. They weren't made very long and were very well built so the resale and demand are both very high for them. In the last couple weeks we've traveled over a thousand miles and spent a lot of money on surveys and rental trucks going after boats only to have them fall through. The first was a great buy but one outboard had a weak compression check and it showed on the sea trial. The second was great and we planned on moving forward. After 10 minutes on the sea trial the port engine overheated and locked up. We were very disappointed with that one. Finally, we stumbled on this one. Long story short, mechanical survey and sea trial went amazing and we bought her today! This is our third boat named Lucky and the third Laguna we pursued, hence the new name, "Lucky 3".

I can't thank Rusty enough! He let me drag him to Tampa at 5am and taught me more about these awesome boats than I ever wanted to know!! Thank you so much and I look forward to taking delivery Thursday.

Beautiful!! I always did like the Lagunas...

Thank God for your diligence. Once again, it sounds like all of the cost associated with surveys and sea trials kept you, (anyone), from buying the wrong boat.

Congratulations, AGAIN! (Seems you have been getting a lot of those in the last 12 months.)

Congrats on the new toy, hope she works out to be really "Lucky" too!

Congrats on the "new" Boat. Hope she works out well for you. And it's still a Sea Ray!

Always loved the Lagunas, will replace our center console with one sometime soon 18/21 ft. Good luck with it

Congrats on the new Sea Ray! That is the same type of boat I rented while in Hawaii back in April. We had a blast on it so enjoy your new toy!

She looks great. Good luck with her. I may have missed it, did you sell the Pursuit also?

Shaun, I have (well, my neighbor across the canal) the same boat sitting in my canal unfortunately it's actually sitting in the water, no bottom paint and one of the motors was left in the down position. It's been there for 6+ months. The lower unit is covered in barnacles as well as the bottom of the boat. Really sad to look at and not sure why the owners are letting it go to waste. The rest of the boat looks nice. I'll have to snap a picture.

Thank you. No, you haven't missed a thing! Still have the Pursuit. Haven't decided yet if I'm gonna keep or sell.
