Interoir Pics!

I'm looking for some interior pics of any mid 70's Sea Ray. I have to re upholster my 74 Weekender. I was wondering what color options thier where?

Problem is the fiberglass has yellowed enough that if I go with white upholster again, I'm affraid it won't look right.

Any suggestions?

Try Sea Ray's site. Got to "models" then "past models" then "prior to 2001". You may not get your exact boat, but you should get something close. Even if you have to go a few years ahead or back. Maybe even another model.

I'm wondering what others have done. Would still going with off white look ok with the interoir fiberglass yellowed a bit.

I would be amazed if your uphostery guy can get the beautiful gold FUR that lines the ceilings and the v-berth walls. That's what really sets our vintage Sea Rays a notch above the crowd. You just haven't boated until you can say you've rumbled in the fur-lined love shack.

Why not go with something more neutral that your friends won't make fun of?

I'm usually a fan of restoring to original, but in the case of copper, gold and avocado appliances next to faux-wood contact paper you've got to draw the line somewhere
