We just got our new to us 2001 290 amberjack. We love the boat and the amenities over our last one. One thing has me stumped. When I am running the generator, I can get everything to work except the A/C lighting. The boat has multiple interior switches for the lighting A/C and D/C systems. Is there something simple I'm missing here?

If it's like a lot of folks I've read (myself included) the AC bulbs in the cabin are burned out and never replaced because they are a very strange size. You probably have a couple fixtures that have both AC and DC bulbs in them. I'd bet the AC bulbs are there but don't work.

You should be able to screw off the covers of the overhead lights and confirm whether or not they are there.

I should have said in the OG post that when the boat was on shore power the day I picked it up the A/C lights did work...

I checked the A/C bulbs and they all appear to be in working condition.
