I'd like to replace my heavy flooring with light weight poly board flooring. Does anyone have contact information or application information for such a product? I seen where someone has used it as a swim platform extention on this site. Can I get in in measured sheet sizes 4X8 or 5X10? Thanks for your help. :smt100

Sundancer, Great products for sure but I'm actually looking to pull the old floor completely out and start over with light weight underlayment. Sorry if I wasn't to clear. I appreciate you posting the links though. Love the Teak look flooring.

BTW, The swim platform shown mounted to the boat on the plasteaks site is very simular to the one I am currently building out of manufactures deck boards. I'll post pictures when it's complete.

or call Soroc plastics in flint mi .talk to ken in customer service .They do sell sheets 5x10 i belive .I replaced all my cabinet doors in cockpit with 1/2" seaboard and my transom door .810 610 3738 is his #,he may ship or know where else to obtain closer to you.

Leave me start over. What I want to do is strip out the plywood flooring and replace it with a lighter weight sub type flooring. If possible. something with a finish so I don't need to put carpet back down and is waterproof. If I could find something like a 3/4" thick poly sheet. Hope that helps. Sorry for taking your time if I guided down the wrong path.

3/4 " would be heavy.1/2 is about the same weight as plywood. Its also a bit slippery so i would go with snap in carpet at minimum.still easy to clean and waterproof.use lots of 5200 on the screws and i would run a bead of 4200 on the tops of the stringers also before laying it down.Talk to topnbr about it hes a fan also.

1956olds, Understood on the 5200 and 4200 application. One more question, I thought ploy board would be lighter than wood of the same thickness. Is my thinking incorrect? Thanks for your advise.
