I hope everybody is having a great boating season, just a quick question, I have a 2004 Sea Ray SunDancer 240.

The Interior lights do not seem to be working at all. I have replaced the fuses, but for some reason they do not seem to be working, would anybody be able to help? Would it be the bulbs or something else. There are 4 small lights around and none seem to be working, please help.:smt100:smt100:smt100
Thanks
TOM

Yes there is a master switch where the shore power cord is at, is that what you are refurring to? Also a main breaker by the cabin. I am new to boating. Le tme know thanks

There is a switch for lights in the cabin, but the courtsey lights do not seem to go on, could they all be burnt out?

Yes it has 2 switches, when I flip the switches on there the cabin lights come on, but the smaller lights by your feet by the drivers side and behind do not turn on at all.

I have tried those buttons, I even up new fuses in there and the fusess seem fine the cockpid lights below your feet just won't turn on, what do you think it could be? New cockpit bulbs? When I boat the boat it was sitting in storage for about a year. My bow light just needed to be replaced because it burnt out.

Thoughts and thanks so mucg for all your help.

It could be the bulbs. Test the sockets for power while cycling the switch. If you don't have a good 12 volt test light you can get one at any auto parts store. Get the best one they have, you won't regret it. While you are there check out their multimeter's, you will eventually need one if you plan to repair/diagnosis the other systems on your boat.

Well, thats a pretty broad question. What are the names of some of the auto parts stores in your area and what is your experience with electrical diagnosis and repair? Remember, here at CSR; You can do it, We can help.

I have no experience with electrical at all. Auto Part Stores, All Car, O Rilley. still very new, but want to figure out a lot of things on my own with you help LOL
