Docofthebay, what did you use to cover the ends of the steps and the table shelf? Is it just flooring mitered or is it a type of moulding or bullnose? Also, what did you use where the offset is in the aft cabin? My wife would like me to do a similar project on our '89 300 DA and I'd like to make it as painless as possible.

They make special stair edge pieces that have a rounded front that extends below the plane of the floor. That's what I put on the stairs and dropoff to the rear cabin.
