Currently building a 300hp mercruiser for my 1983 26' Sundancer that I bought with a hydro-locked engine.
The cause of the engine failure was a hole in the intake manifold under the thermostat.:wow:
I am passing on this info with the effort of saving someone an expensive oversight in the spring.
