My premium has been flat for years with the same limits. I looked at this new coverage option as a way for the company to raise profit margins without apparently raising rates. Old policy with less coverage is available with no change in premium. New policy, more premium with essentially the same coverage as before but with a $300 price hike. Gives the customer the illusion of choice. Pure hype.
