Hi guys,

Any suggestions on how to get the wiring through the radar arch? It doesn't seem easy... I thought I could just tape on the new wiring to the old and pull it through, but all the wires behind the dash are grouped together. Thanks for the help.

I put my 741xs in last weekend. I'm really impressed with it so far. I know on mine running wires through the arch is dreadful. Best of luck.

Use a snake. My arch has tons of room but I will still use a snake when I get around to install the radar.

When you pull wires ANYWHERE on your boat, always pull a long length of parachute cord or 1/8" nylon line with the wires. You never know when you'll have to pull more wires through there and if you have already pulled a length of parachute cord through there, that makes it easy the second time. Also, don't overlook giving a spray coating of silicone to the wires before you pull them. That makes them slide more easily.
