Installing engine compartment insulation

Several pieces of insulation have fallen off of the walls or ceiling in my engine compartment. They are generally 2 ft by 4 ft in size, and also feel tacky. However, if I put them back where they belong, they fall off sooner or later. I am thinking that I should coat the tacky surface with contact cement and place n place after that? Any techniques for this project?

I agree with the spray, it is easier to try first. But these are what are usually used I believe..
