I am not at my boat, but does anyone know where the input is on the Clarion Stereo in the panel box to hookup an Ipod.
And what type of connector input it is, RCA Plug,....USB......etc?
I want to connect a bluetooth adapter to the System.
Many Thanks!

My 260 is the same year as your 320 and I have a Clarion CMD4. I have an auxilary plug in right beside my main unit. It takes the 3.5mm male plug. If not there, it is in the rear behind the unit. There are many RCA plugs.

Use the AUX RCA (red/white plugs) coming out of back of receiver. Some of the newer receivers also have a USB which you can use to direct connect an iPod or other music device. I did both, used a flush mount for USB and Bluetooth single, works great.

Does anyone know if the older units have an aux input? 2003, I looked at the back of mine and did not see anything like it but there was a lot of nicely bundled wires and I didnt want to debundle them if I didnt have the rca plugs I was looking for.

It should def have one if its the stock one Sea Ray built the boat with. Get the model number and look it up or post a pic of head unit

In 2006, I dont think Clarion had a unit with USB, but certainly a pair of rear AUX RCA's. Is yours a CMD4? The rear AUX will allow for any universal blue tooth or headphone hook up.

An 03 would be an XMD series, what gen, 1, 2 or 3?

In my 2006 320, the original stereo was the cmd4. When I got it, a cmd6 was in it which I recently removed and replaced with a new m303 with built in Bluetooth etc... In mine, there is an aux jack, like the ear bud jack on the side of the cabinet behind the salon couch where you can use a regular aux cord like you would in a car. There was also a USB port, but that was laying behind the stereo and never routed forward.

I am pretty sure it is the stock unit, I have no idea what the model is, it is a clarion and looks like it was factory, I will be in the boat tomorrow and will have a closer look at things as you all think I should have something there. I just took a kind of quick look in the back, there is definatly nothing on the front.
Thank You, I had assumed it wasn't there.

My 2003 came with an XMD2 and it did not have RCA plugs for in. I replaced the head unit with XMD3 and then CMD4. It uses the same plug for all those stereos so it was an easy swap.

Sorry garmett, wasn't trying to hijack your thread.
Thanks for the info.
