Does anybody use the inflatable fenders made by "stowaway"? I am not sure if there is enough room in the cockpit/transom to store (4) full size fenders on a 380DA (previous owners please chime in) and I don't want to use fender racks.

In my 380DA I stored five 8" X 26" fenders, three five gallon buckets (with tops) filled with cleaning, electrical adapters and Misc "stuff" , two power cords, a 50 foot water hose and CATV cable neatly wrapped (the buckets would fit inside the diameter) and an expandable handled brush..... and occasionally my BBQ. It was a little tight, but managable.

In my 410DA I have all the same "Stuff" except now I carry four 10" X 28" fenders.

You say inflatable, I say deflatable.

In my 340, we store two LARGE fenders beneatht the floor in the salon along with two scuba tanks and the cable TV cable. We store two more in the aft storage bin around the stbd side behind the seats.

thanks Dom - as you know I haven't actually "seen" my 38 yet! 4 days and counting...I was just guessing from the pictures I've seen.

Just got back a few days ago from NY so didn't see this thread, but yes I have the Stowaway fenders and have use them a lot. They came in really handy a few weeks ago when I was going to one of my favorite on the water restaurants for lunch and and tied a few fenders to the starboard side in anticipation of docking. When I got close to the restaurant, one of the fenders was gone, and because of wind and current, I had to approach and dock from the Port side. It took just a few minutes to inflate 3 of the fenders and quickly tie them and dock. Can never have too many fenders around and these inflatables come in handy. But I also think you need some of the standard fenders too.
