Has anybody found a good cleaner for a hypalon inflatable boat. I was given the boat with the purchase of my sea ray and have had no luck getting the stains/dirt out of it. The boat was on a jetport for about a year without any care. Would like to see what products others used.

The best thing I have found is soft scrub with bleach. Wear old clothes and gloves and use a fairly stiff scrub brush (like your deck brush). Let it sit for a while oo and rewet and re scrub. Use a hypalon conditioner/sealer after it is clean. The only thing this won't really get out is old mildew. Good luck.

This has worked well for me.....at inflatableboatparts.com
[h=2]Orange-Off Inflatable Boat Cleaner and Adhesive Remover[/h]
orangeoffbottlewith3picdemo.jpg
Orange Off Inflatable Boat Adhesive Remover and Cleaner is a concentrated citrus cleaner and degreaser made from D'limolene, an ultra powerful cleaning chemical that is derived from the cells of orange peels. Orange Off's emulsifier safely dissolves adhesives, mold stains, grease, oil, lime deposits, oxidation and waterline stains and is considered the "Goo Gone" of the inflatable boat industry. Orange Off contains no synthetic chemicals, petroleum distillates or harmful detergents which damage inflatable boat tube fabric. The above pictured inflatable was sitting outside filled with water for 2 years. We simply sprayed Orange Off on the tube, let it sit for 5 minutes, used the scrub pad that is included and wiped clean. All traces of dirt, mold and grime were gone. If you don't find that Orange Off is the most effective cleaner and adhesive remover on the market, simply return the unused portion for a full refund. Also works on plastic and injection molded kayaks and boat hulls. A 6"x 9" scrubbing pad is included. Gallons are available on a special order basis for $89.95. Naturally orange scented.

I've used Soft Scrub with bleach in the past but it damaged the finish on the boat. After a couple of years of using it the finish started fading to a brown color. Here's what it looked like after the third year....

I painted the dinghy using a paint made specifically for that purpose and here's what it looked like when I was done....

Never, never, never, never, never....use goof off to remove a stain from your inflatable. Don't ask me why because I'll never admit to it. :smt021

I used Goof off on the overhead controls of my wife's car after the dealer got glue all over it. It melted it.

Soft scrub with magic eraser on the bad areas. Always follow with a protectant after!

I tried everything to clean my hyperlon tubes with not much luck! Then i tried cleaner wax and the tubes came up so clean and shiny afterwards it was amazing...so in my experience nothing tops cleaner wax for hyperlon tubing its amazing how well it works! just wax buff off like you would on the boat hull...just do it by hand not with a machine so you don't punch a hole in her... it takes all the dirt with it even ground in stuff...
