Does anyone have experience with these products when used in the cockpit area? I am wondering if it is slippery when wet, how durable it is, does it get too hot, etc. I am looking at changing out my old berber carpet. For this product.

Good looking stuff! I just sent the link to our local installer to see if he works with them. I would love to see decent sized samples!

Infinity Fabrics will soon be a factory option on Sea Ray boats. Sea Ray has one of the most rigorous supplier vetting processes in the industry. We don't put paints/gelcoat/vinyl/carpet/flooring etc on our production boats until we've tested them outdoors in Florida for five years, so that's a pretty big vote of confidence.

I have carpet templates I could ship but may have to transfer to proper template material. I worry about my ability to make it perfect...

We are starting with the carpets in the heads as a tester. I will say the stuff ain't cheap. The 2 heads carpets that are close to 3'x3' are about $375 for the 2 of them. I don't think its going to be slippery.

I think I may have signed up for the wrong searay forum because I have my little dinky 1993 searay 180 ! Lol anyway I was hoping to find some help I am wanting to find the actual color carpet that is in the boat now to replace it with the same color it is a gray and I can't find it Anywere !

The stock color of the berber carpet that Sea Ray uses is called Dunes and can be ordered from site sponsor Snapincarpet.com.....scroll down to the middle of the following page and you will see it.

As I stated in the previous threads, so far I am very happy with my Infinity flooring. It looks great and feels good underfoot.

I think it is the perfect product for those looking for another option besides carpet or synthetic teak.

I have shipped out product to a couple of our CSR members. I am really looking forward to seeing pics of their installs and hearing opinions of the product.

This stuff is popular and with canvas work I am running at least a month or more out right now on orders.

Sweet! What kind of snap tool do you have to install your snaps? Hopefully not the crappy WM type...

Scott that looks awesome… what an improvement!

To install the Snaps:

let the flooring lay on the deck for 30 minutes or so to take its flat "shape". Think "big picture"...... look at how your stripes align and don't be in a hurry.

1 - Press firmly over top of the snap stud to leave a temporary impression on the bottom side of your infinity flooring.
2 - quickly place a dot with a sharpie or ink pen in the center of the impression.
3 - set your snap using your "dot" as exact center
4 - only do one snap at a time, and press snaps on studs as you go.

If you have a boat and have canvas buy a "PRES- N-SNAP" tool and be happy. All the canvas guys use them to set snaps.
