Who boats all winter?
Who Pulls out on a trailer?
On the Hard?
Who stays in but doesn't go boating?

We actually pick up our cruising plans this time of year. 3 Nights in Apalach for the Seafood Festival, 3 nights in SanDestin for New Years. A couple of nights at Bay Point for my daughter's dance competition.

Ouch!!! You’re killing me here.

Garage is cleaned out for the most part, boat is winterized, on the trailer, waiting to get backed in this weekend.

Boat gets pulled the last week of October for storage and goes back in early April (I hope)...

slipped right now.. but I voted trailer-continue to boat as I will pull out of the slip at the end of the month but see hwo the weather holds up. (unless something works out to slip all year :smt001 )

You left out "in the water and about to winterize but still boating.....yada, etc."

Mine lives on the trailer except of course when it is in the water, it is cleaned and covered right now but if I was going in the water it could be there in 15 minutes or less. I don't drain the water from the engine unless the weatherman is predicting some real cold. We can boat all 12 months of the year, some days are not boating days in the winter course some days are not boating days in the summer.

If your thinking about leaving and your in a cold climate I would recommend purchasing a Ice-Eater.I have left out 450 sundancer in for 5 years now and saved a ton of $$$$.I have bought new and bought reconditioned with the same warranty for much less$$$ from a nice gentleman named Art in the Annapolis Md area.If anyone is interested let me know and start saving soon.

Last weekend on the water, nice weather predicted. On Tuesday on the trailer, back to the dealer for inside storage. Two years ago, driving the boat to the ramp it was snowing on the 14 of October.... it is going to be a long winter up here.

Slipped and year around boating for us. We have some of the best boating times in the off season. Good sleeping weather and a decline in boating idiots to deal with.
I have never seen the temp drop below 36 in the cabin and the bilge never drops below the water temperature (coldest I measured was 38 on a single digit night). I do have a boatsafe heater for good measure and several live aboard friends should there be a combination of extreme cold and power failure

We are doing one last night on the hook tonight and tomorrow I will finish up decomissioning the ice maker, clean the head, pump out and shut down the water system. Everything is waxed above the rail and the boat guy just finished washing the boat and it looks great. Filters and oil are all changed and she is full of fuel. Friday we will wash her and stick her in the barn.

so what your saying is that your when your boats not in the water its on the trailer?

Not sure when to pull mine. i think im going to hold out till it gets too cold to go for a cruise. The pontoon's usually come out when my neighbor pulls his. he's the only one with a trailer lol. I think im going to wait until my friends that own the local marine repair shop tell me too. Ill be out there in my ski pants and jacket ripping around the lake. Then its on the trailer and parked on the side of the garage.
