Impeller replacment tip.

I was browsing another forum trying to get as much info on an upcoming impeller replacement next week and came upon this tid bit.
One of the difficult steps of the procedure is getting the new impeller into the housing some say oil it up others suggest using dishwater soap. The tid bit I found is to put a plastic tie wrap around it pull it tight, place it in the housing then cut the tie wrap and remove it.

I use vaseline just make sure the impeller blades are going in the correct direction if you use the strap i found just twist in direction of flow and vaseline insures correct rotation . Good luck its easier then you think once you do it your like huh aint nothing to it .
