Impeller replacement

Hey everyone: I want to replace my impeller, I have a 185 sport with a 4.3 mercruiser, however, I don't know where it's located. Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to replace it, or at least point me in the general direction? I'm also going to tackle changing all the fluids including oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, plugs, cap and rotor. I do most of my maintenance on my other vechiles so all this other stuff I can handle, well at least i think I can. I have the maintenance manual but it really does not spell out how to change the impeller, I have not even look to see how to replace the hydraulic and gear oil yet, hopefully, I have not bit off more than I can chew. Any assistance would be grealty appreciated.

The impeller is in the middle of the stern drive. You need to look at the drive service manual, not the engine manual. Merc publishes the manuals separately.
