impeller kit help

I replaced the impeller on my alpha 1 and when i took apart the old one there was a plastic tube melted pretty bad, there is a new one in the kit along with a large rubber washer/seal... can someone please tell me where these go when reinstalling the kit and lower unit

There are a lot of ways to screw this up. Look at the mercruiser manual on this site. Also search impeller. The plastic tube goes on top of the water pump housing. The large rubber seal goes on the drive shaft.
