I'm at Sea School in Long Island (Freeport) and it's a Sea Ray Dealer!!! New 420 Sundancer sitting right here for me to drool over. Even in snow she is pretty! 6 days of school starts tomorrow!
Funny, I was drooling all over a 420DA today also, my wife loved it and gives her approval to proceed.

Sorry for jumping onto your thread.
Are you going to school to get your OUPV (Captain's License) 6pack?
Something I'd like to persue someday

I love the 05' the hardtop is the way to go. And I believe it has heat/Ac cockpit. Beauty!!

There are two white hulls and two blue hulled boats I'm looking at. My favorite color is pewter like yours then white followed by blue. My last boat had a blue hull showed all kinds of scratches.

CV, When I click on your links I get this.

This is really Good Trouble to be in from where I sit. And once you have "Anyfootitis" it is the only thing that will treat the symptoms.

Yes.....I'm going for my 100 Ton upgrade in April also. I have a job driving a 65ft simulated paddle wheel riverboat this coming summer. I did my 90 days on her this past summer. Twin Volvo IO Diesels.....7.5 knot ride when needed. We run about 4.5 Knots in general for our cruises. Inland License at this point......may do FL in a few years........I had an offer to do this at no cost to me. Awesome deal!

For a guy from Central PA, I really got to know the charts around Montauk, Block Island, Race Point and Watch Hill for the past two days!

I really wish you well on your course work, keep us posted and Good Luck.

Graduated Sea School Class! Got a 100, 98, 96 and 93! Navigation and plotting was fun. Rules of the road is the toughest with International and Inland rules being a bit different. 10 days away from home was ok but missed the home cooking and my gal. 54 hours of instruction in 6 days is a bit overwhelming but I had all day Sat and Sunday to study and learn the charts. As a recreational boater, you know quite a bit of stuff but not how it all really applies offshore or on big water or big boats. Signed up for 100 Ton Master course in April in Atlantic City.....taking my wife on this one. Three days of class and a thirty question test won't be as intimidating. Got my TWIC Card in the process and Physical / paperwork all done. Just a matter of time for the actual license to show up and be official. Being paid to be on the water is fun to say the least! Our instructor Captains a 65' Viking Convertible with a huge tuna tower. It's in Marathon, FL right now.....where I would like to be. They fish the Giant Tuna, Sailfish and other stuff.....the main bridge is fully enclosed so it's a comfy fishing boat. 3.2M isalot of boat cash and she goes back to Viking every three years for bottom paint and service. Fuel burn is 50-60 gallon an hour he said. 1500 gallon capacity!

Good luck on your testing...I'm going to start towards my 6 pack in Aug, then onto a towing addition. It took till yesterday to get my heart doc to get with the CG to be sure I wouldn't just be wasting my time.
