Boat sold yesterday to a wonderful young couple with 2 kids. I know Wine Down II will be loved and cared for.

As for me with the changes in work status in was not prudent to keep the boat at this time. So rather than having her sit she went on the market. Once I get this job and company back on track nother boat may be in my future. I'll still be lurking around. This place and you guys are too much fun. I can live my boating life vicariously through you all.

Steve

Well you have started memories for a new family to boating. You will in time be back in it your self.Good luck and stick around here ,good advice is always welcome.

I looked at a 340 on your lake
it's cheap .... but needs lots of love.

There are a lot boats on this lake that need love. 38ft Chris Craft across from me hadn't seen anyone near that boat in 4yrs. Dock mate said someone came down this spring. Whole interior needs to be gutted now do to mold and creatures. Herd the bill will be north of $12k. Another wizard had his dry stacked at our marina. Did not get it wnterized (thought he was far enough south) cracked the block. Fairly new bow rider. Won't pay the 7k he was quoted to repair so instead pays storage for 7yrs. to the tune of $17k. Just sold the boat lasr year for $3500 as is. And there are many others.

this one has rebuilt 454s from Northshore Marina
hull is very solid but needs lots
its on ebay for 8k Running Errands is the name...former salt boat but the engines are all freshwater
it's the one I had to fix the bilgepumps on while I was looking at it to keep it from sinking at the dock.

But sinking at the dock is a time honored tradition here on LKN. Had 2 go in our marina in the last 2 years. Must have been that brand new Yamaha genny on the one.

this definitely wasnt a gennie issue
all 4 batteries were dead and thier 3 prong 14ga extension cord wouldn't fit the 30a shore power plug on the hull

Steve, Once a CSR'er always a CSR'er. :smt001

Well, not for....wing-less aka wingturd aka wingfart aka wingtard. . :smt043

Thanks Wayne. I thought of you for this boat after after you said you were going to sink that can boat. You should have bought Wine Down I.
