Have just replaced all dash instrument and guage panels, and am having one heck of a time w/ the ignition wiring! I am getting ignition to both engines, but am not
getting any alarm nor fuel solenoid activity when I initially engage the rocker start
switch. I have asked Sea Ray, Marine Max, and Carling for a diagram of the 4-post Contura II switch, and have yet to get any resolve. If anyone knows the
correct placement of the red/yellow(start), red/violet(pwr), and the dbl purple,
and sgl. purple placements, I would compensate you for your help !! Sounds simple,.....but I feel like an idiot, since I diagrammed the color scheme when I
removed them ! Note: I have a cross-over jumper (purple) from both port and stbd. that I need help with as well ! What the heck am I doing wrong??

Thanks - Ed

Do you have an electrical wiring diagram in your owner's manual? If you are able to understand wiring diagrams, you should be able to locate the proper (factory) connections to the rocker switch. The wires will be labeled with their coloring. Checking your diagram against the wiring diagram might help you discern misconnections.

Thanks for your reply. The answer is yes! I have taken it, along w/ my switch to Marine Max. I have likewise, contacted SR, Customer Service, who tried their darndest to locate the actual dwg's, but to no avail ! I am over my head reading the wiring schematics, but have isolated all color codings, to have no clue as to what corresponding switch post each goes. I'm now looking for other 330 EC's in the area
to ask the owner if they would go to the trouble of removing the four screws, removing the panel, and taking a pic of the rear wiring. What a 'simple' mess !!
Thanks for your note.
