Ok I havn't replaced my starter yet and took the boat out this afternoon. We rode around the lake off and on for about 4 hours and the boat ran great. Went to take the boat out of the water and the boat wouldn't start. I mean not even trying to turn over...not even a the accessory position worked....
Would this be a blown ignition fuse???

With ur bilge pump running as much as u say it has in the other post..... Batteries are probably dead

Is your throttle in the neutral/starting posistion? If it's engaged even slightly out in either direction it might cause this. Just a thought.

This was my first thought too. However, he said no accessories worked either. So no electric power.... Either a main fuse or dead batteries. He stated in another post his bilge pump has been running and won't turn off. That will kill batteries in a hurry with the constant draw on it. But certainly is a good start to make sure it's locked in neutral

Agree...that was my problem last week :smt021

Make sure the Kill Switch was not tripped as well.

Good call! I remember my neighbor installed a kill switch in his car, couldn't start it so called a tow truck. At the shop the mechanic couldn't help from laughing!

Kill switches on this size boats probably create the same issues.

The bilge pump is still kicking on every 5min and running for 3-4sec. and cutting off. If the battery was totally dead I wouldn't think the bilge pump would still run. I am thinking it is possibly a fuse somewhere. I am going to look over everything this afternoon really good. I think my starter needs replacing and could have caused this issue because the starter motor has been making a loud screeching noise when starting the boat. It possibly dead and tripped a fuse when I went to start the boat.

Fixed it! The power wire running to the starter broke off. The metal ring end had snapped off some how. Like when you bend metal back and forth it finally snaps. Crazy!! Always something new!! lol

With the pump turning off and on but the bilge dry.... May just b time to replace the pump. Glad to here the electrical issue was a simple fix

I went to replace my starter this afternoon and found out that my starter was only mounted in with one stud bolt. Come to find out the other one has been broken off at the threads. WoW!! Can my local sea ray dealer back this out and re tap it so the starter will be mounted correctly????
