Ignition Sensor Leads

Hi all. Just putting my '97 Mercruiser 350 back together after a major repair and I am still having trouble getting a spark from the coil. I have replaced the ignition sensor under the distributor but this wasn't the problem. I hear it is very unlikely that it is a faulty coil but I am willing to try anything at this point. I have checked all the wiring from the harness and everything seems to be clean and hooked up. I guess it could be the computer but I am told that they rarely go. The coil seems to be getting 12volts to the positive which drops to about 8 or 9 when cranking which makes sense to me. Any suggestions. Help please!!! :huh::smt009
