Looking for a small ice maker to fit in our '98 310. The closest I found was one by uline, however, it was too tall.

Do you have any recommendations?

You can buy a counter model like Emerson for about 150.00 that produces ice every 7 to 9 minutes. We have a cockpit u-line also that does well. Together we can make around 50 lbs per day in a 24 hour period. Hope this helps?

EDIT; Removed link.

I have this one and it works great.

Let me do some research and see if I can get you a good deal. My boss has tried a few I'll get his thoughts.

I have this same one and leave it on all the time so whenever we get to the boat I can make a drink. It works great and I've had it for just under 3 years.

Thanks for the info Shaun, may get one of these, looks pretty good and if you have had one working for nearly three years can't be too bad:) Do you keep it in your cabin most the time? Anything drastic happen if the elec goes out (does in our basin from time to time). Thanks in advance!

Hi guys and gals, for those interested I can get my hands on a Vitrifrigo unit that might be a great option for all. They carry 3 different sizes. Get me cut out dimensions and I can get all of you some good pricing at a group rate. -AL

I'm sorry, I never saw this post! I answered your PM, but figured I'd answer it here as well in case it can help anyone else.....I have it in the cabin all the time. It has a reservoir under the ice basket that holds the water. So basically, as the ice melts it drips back into the reservoir and recycles new ice. About every other weekend I add a little water to it. I use bottled water to get the best quality. The only thing that would happen if you lose power is all the ice will melt and the water drips back down in to the water tank. I lost power once here for, I assume a few days as my old shore power cable broke and I didn't discover it until I got back to the boat on Friday. In that case I emptied all the water and started over as I assumed it was somewhat stagnate from just sitting there. Hope this helps!!!

That little one is nice but it sucks it doesn't stay cold inside. I think raratan makes a small one
