Do I need to buy the OEM IAC valve ($190) or can I buy the aftermarket version which is significantly less. Thanks

Thanks!Save your money. I use these and they work great. Merc doesnt make IAC’s. They rebrand somebody elses.

Dont forget to change the IAC muffler while youre in there. They get dirty and can kill an iac running at 100% duty cycleThanks!
Thanks. This is for a 2003 sea ray 260 5.0. Do you know the location of the iac muffler?Dont forget to change the IAC muffler while youre in there. They get dirty and can kill an iac running at 100% duty cycle
Assuming this is an MPI motor? If you pull the flame arrestor off you will see a port next to the main throttle body opening, its in there. Pull it out with some needle nose and replace. Most likely gonna be dirty blackThanks. This is for a 2003 sea ray 260 5.0. Do you know the location of the iac muffler?
