I need to replace my dometic AC unit. Suggestions?

My AC wnt in my master state. It's a 7000btu. Any recomdations for a replacement?

I replaced one in the front state room last year and if I recall you either go down to a 6,000 or up to an 8,000 which is what I did. Even the 8,000 uses less power than the old 12,000.Do not recall what it cost right now either but ever thing in a BOAT starts at a thousand if I recall correctly!

6000 or 8000 btu, turbo cruisair model. Unless you are deep in Floriday, I think the 6000 is fine for the 420's cabin. They aren't cheap, but best in class in my opinion. Will also allow you to use all of the existing control panel and hookups although you may need a joint fitting and extension on the water lines.

WE moved up to a 12000 BTU for our Master. Used a Mermaid, runs very quiet. Much better than the 8000 that was there

Flagship marine makes a great product and are an alternative to the traditional CruiseAir product. Only downside is that the controller will not fit in the existing space.

Looks like my unit had no refrigerant in it. Tech I had look at it thinks maybe the coil is leaking. We are going to air test it but doesn't look good.
