I have a 1991 sea-ray 22.5 footer. Mine is kept on the trailer all the time. One guy told me the reason my center rollers were worn out is because most boats don't rest on them. my front roller is only a year old. my boat is sitting on all the rollers. I raised up my bunks and now my bunk look wavy like they are supporting too much weight. I will include pictures tomorrow. i raised my bunks with a couple of 2 by 6 by foot long raisers and now the boat is only on the front roller but it just does not look right. can a few people post what their trailed sea-ray 22.5 footer looks like. i don't have any near me to judge if my trailer is right or not. Thank you.

In my past experience a trailer needs to be "bunked" for a particular boat hull. Your friend, while well intentioned, may have given you some poor advice. There are several trailer manufacturers in southern California and it's even possible that one of them made the trailer your boat is sitting on. I would do a bit of research on your trailer and determine where it was manufactured. If it was in the SoCal area you should be able to take the boat and trailer to them and they can "re-bunk" the load properly. If your trailer was not made locally I would contact several of the local manufacturers, like Pacific Trailers in Chino http://www.pacifictrailers.com/ and inquire about getting yours bunked properly.

A boat that is not sitting on the trailer with a properly distributed load can suffer damage. Go see an expert. This is not a task for the inexperienced.

Good Luck
Shawn
