I hope they catch who did this!

I had a chat with my friend Capt.Wally from down there. There's a lot of p*ssed off people over this hoax.

He said they think they know where the call might of came from. :smt038
 
Yup, I hope they catch 'em, skin 'em and toss the leftover parts to the sharks.

What probably will happen is they'll catch the jerks, their attorney will plea bargain it from a major felony down to a misdemeanor with a few days in jail and a fine of a couple grand.

Sucks.
 
I hope they get hit as hard as the law allows max fines and time and all that goes with it.
 
Throw them on a boat, make it explode and have them call for help for real. Only this time no one will repsond. Irony is a biatch!

I heard on the radio yesterday that they suspect this is the same person that did it last year!!!
 
The guy seemed too calm to me during the call....that was my first thought. Throw the book at him, Mike.

That's the first thing I thought! He was awfully calm! We were taking on water in the bay two years ago and I was inwardly panicking (we were in six feet of water LOL)
 
Just saw on the news that officials are investigating a possible link to a false mayday call made in Texas last month. Apparently the callers voice and use of language are very similar.
