I have a 2001 310DA Sundancer wonders at idle

Boat wanders side to side at idle but runs great after adding a little power. twin Bravo III drives. they seem to be tight no play. Any ideas what might cause this?

Pretty sure I've read several threads in which "wandering" was discussed. Below is a thread I found by using the advanced search feature here on CSR. Try some different words (I just used "wander") & you may get better results.

I was thinking it might be a toe issue like on a car. i have had this problem for 5 years the whole time i have owned the boat but it not gotten worse.

Sounds odd with counter rotating props of the BIII.

Maybe an alighnment of the drives is off? ... Just throwing something out there till some one more knowlageable chimes in. ...Ron

Sea Ray said that it was toed some he thought but did not know how much or how to check it.I would think center of the drive on transom and then center of cav plate should read the same or slightly less.
