I bought a bunch of stuff last week, I got all the tracking numbers.
But NOTHING has showed up as being in transport on their tracking sites. :smt021

Why send the f'in tracking numbers if they are useless. :smt013

Sometimes companies send out fake tracking numbers. Maybe you just bought some stuff for a poor kid in China.
 
I feel your pain and have experienced the same. The package will show up without a single update to the tracking-this after paying a premium for shipping....

so here's how it works...they get the trans # to you as quick as possible so you know they're working on it....then once it gets to the system you get updates. You want it RIGHT now....go to a store and buy it....geez.
 
Sadly common with 3rd party sellers on Amazon. They generate a shipping label, which gives you the tracking number, but then wait a few days to actually send the package. Some of them might only get the packages to the shipper once a week, even if they created the label 5 days ago.
 
I'm waiting on one now. Said it shipped last week and this is all it shows for tracking although it shows who it has shipped with and gives a tracking number.

Wayne, why didn't you get me to bring them back.....well half way to oz.

Coming out of China, make sure you are searching the right site. I had some samples coming out at the beginning of the year and I kept searching USPS which wasn't quite correct

A couple weeks ago fed ex dropped a box off with dad at his suite in our house. Not an uncommon thing at our house but this time they did not ask for a signature or even say anything. Dad put the package inside our door. We looked at it and noticed it was for a different address on the same street. Karen called fed ex to tell them of the error. Fed ex asked," what's the tracking number? "and of course Karen said "I don't know, it's not my package" to which fed ex replied " Im sorry,without the tracking number I can't do anything about it". Instead of seeing what our free mystery package contained I delivered to the right house but it did take me a week to get around to it.

A few days or I have seen it a couple of weeks while they wait for the order to come in to in turn sell it to you.
 
Funny story - I was reading a newspaper article to the admiral a few weeks ago about Amazons plans to send you things before you even know you need them so when you order them they have already arrived, as you can imagine I wa saying - wow, how crazy is that.
The admirals response was "woundnt they be better off focusing on the getting the things to me that I know I want and I have already paid for so I have them when I need them". ...... That's why I asked her to marry me :grin:

The tracking numbers are still saying shipped but they haven't. :smt013

My amazon store card was charged for all of this stuff.
( I thought they couldn't charge you until its shipped ? )

1. Dell desktop 2.8 duo core computer with monitor/keyboard/mouse

2. USB Digital Surveillance Camera with Night Vision.

3. High quality headphones.

4. Canon all in one printer with photo paper.

5. 5 pounds of jack links jerky.

6. Milan salami assorted (6 pack).

7. 10lbs of gummi bears candy.

8. 10lbs of swedish fish candy.

7 of the packages are from the USA and 1 is from China.


If I was feeling better, I could of ran/walked fast and got them quicker. :lol:
