Well, I can finally breathe and introduce all my CSR buddies to my NEW TO ME 2002 340 Sundancer! I can honestly say I feel like I have seen so many they started to blend together. I have done all I have been told on this great site and got the full survey and sea trial done, and should be taking her over Monday or Tuesday. We had a misfire issue on sea trial that was pleasantly corrected by new plugs all the way around and a code check before and after the runs. She ran like a scalded dog! And a thirsty one at that!

So here are the specs and some pics for your entertainment:

#1 THANK YOU to Windjammer, Carterchapman, Chuck1, JediJD, Black Pearl, Hampton, Everything Erie, Jim, Sferguson, and ALL of you for your great input earlier!!

Nice! ....love the 340s.

Whoaaaa Quint4 !!!. What about this being a April fools joke also ??.

Congratulation!!! Good looking boat. How long are you going to keep her on Lanier?

Congrats on your new boat! It's just like mine only bigger!:grin:

Congratulations. She looks incredibly clean for an 8 year old boat...

Def call Jim about a chartplotter. The good thing about the multifunction displays is you can add the peripherals later as need/budget permits. Right now is the perfect time to buy as the manufacturers are closing out last year's models and there are deals to be had- don't wait too long or they'll be gone (sounds like a sales pitch, right?? :)) True, tho...

You'll love docking a twin-screw boat. So much easier than a single.

That's one fine lookin's boat. You and your family should have some fun times with this - except for the stops at the fuel dock. As you say, they are kinda thirsty - especially if you've got a heavy hand...

ENJOY!

Way to go Scott, I know you are super excited to get her out on the water. Are you staying @ Lanier? Great looking boat ya know I am kinda partial to that year model. Let's move her to a Allatoona ASAP. I have a hook up.

Way to go!!!! SUPER choice:thumbsup::smt038You guys are going to have a GREAT summer!

You are gonna love that 340. It looks like a super clean 02. We put about 7 hours on ours last week. They are not too thirsty at "cocktail speed". Try about 1000 to 1200 RPM.

What took you so long?

Super ride! Congrats!

Scott, Very nice !! Congrats on the new ride. :smt038
