I did it again....my new toy

Nice ride, the wife shouldnt let you out on the lake alone in it for sure. The hull reminds me of a Donzi hull for some reason, were they related?

That is one beautiful Cobalt. Welcome to the "Addicted to Boating" club.

We all have our addictions. With some guys it's golf. Others it's flying or hunting or something like that.

We're the smart one--we do it on the water!

Congrats, very good looking new toy!

Good memory but you are thinking of NorCal Boater.... http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/69870-Just-Added-To-My-Fleet

Yep....That was me. I did buy one I used to own and it is currently in a zillion pieces in my garage undergoing restoration.

Tonka, you should just quit screwin' around with the poor woman and just go for the one below. You know that is where this will end up.

Yikes...that 46EC is a beautiful boat. Too bad they're not making cruisers anymore....then again, fewer people have an interest in cruisers these days.

Thanks again everyone!!

I sold my 2000 21 ft Cobalt exact same color last year - I loved that boat. It handled great and was fast. My first power boat. Your photo brings back great memories.

Unfortunately the 46EC was introduced in '07 and we all know what happen in '08. Really poor timing. I'm not sure how many were produced but there are 4 listed on YW from $399k to $550k. They are truly gorgeous.

I took delivery over the weekend of my new (to me) Cobalt....here she is loaded and ready for her ride home this past Saturday. I'm going nuts waiting for the weather to turn around so I can get here detailed to my standards and get out on the water. The lakes are open but the weather is cold, rainy and crappy. I had a nice weather window on Saturday so I made the 130 mile trip to bring her home.

I'd be giddy with anticipation as well... she is beautiful.

I can always recognize a Cobalt on the water. They are very distinctive. Very classy.

Nice, and it looks just like the boat on the front of my clymer manual I was referring to in another thread, plus the extended swim platform.
Cobalts and Formulas are the only boays that tempt me away from SeaRay.
