Sold in 3 weeks. My 260DA sold in 2. There is certainly a market for clean, well maintained Sea Ray's. To be honest I didn't think it would sell so fast. Market must be getting better since I also noticed that the NADA values went up a lot since last year. What to do now, I'm lost.:smt089

Good to hear. I have the same boat. We have not had it long <1yr, but we have been boating every chance we can and we are really thinking of upsizing!!!

Im not looking for details, but did you sell it close to NADA value?

Congrats! Mine sold in ninety days, very clean and priced right but I still consider myself lucky. I have seen some very clean well priced boats sitting for a long time. what was your purpose for selling, did you have a plan?

Hi Russ. Well...my boat has been in the water since 3/31 and I've been out only 4 times. Sadly, it just doesn't justify the expense any longer. A nice young family bought her so I'm hoping they get to enjoy the boat more than we were able to.

Congrats! I'm in the same boat, so to speak. Mine sold in less than a week and I'm in search of something trailerable that will fit in my garage. It seems to be a strong used boat market.

Congratulations on the sale of your boat.

Well, Bridog, I want to thank you for starting the 300DA forum and everything you posted there. I learned a lot from you without you knowing and I really do appreciate it.

You will get the bug again and I hope it's soon. Just knowing you may be invited to the secret site might expedite your return...

I was talking to some local brokers who are selling, and sold, two houseboats on my pier. They said boats in the 50K and under range are selling fast. The boats priced above 100 K not so fast as there are fewer buyers in that range. I think overall it is an improvement when a couple years ago nothing was selling.

I have also seen the sale of a late model 340 and Regal 36 sold this year just on my dock in the 150K range.

Congrats on the sale! Bet you will get another before too long:)

Wow.....what a shock Brian. :wow::wow:

I guess your going to have to give it some time to see if you miss boating.

Dave

VERY good to hear. I bought my 260DA in May and I need to go bigger for the family. Putting it on market this week. From what I hear, the 260 size is a very desirable boat. My dealer was going to buy it back less 5% which is a pretty good deal. I'm going to see what I can do on my own first.

Wow Brian....I recall you were thinking about selling a year or so back. Did you sell yourself or broker? I learned alot from you about my 300DA. Take care...
