One of two shift senders is not engaging reverse and is spongy, when put in reverse shift arm goes back to neutral on its own. It will engage forward. Open bleeder on sender and no fluid, when shift arm is moved fluid is ejected. Open bleeder on shifter slave and no fluid. All other bleeders have pressure and fluid and function properly. Any ideas?

In case anyone else has this problem- not if usually when, I found almost no info anywhere. There is a guy that is expert on Controls and is the service center for Dometic (seastar), teleflex and Hynautic. His name is Gary @ Marine Control Systems Inc. Increadibly helpful and he travels. My issue was a simple O ring and he knew it immeadiately and helped me.
