Well, here I am hundreds of miles away from my home state, which is known by many to be the hurricane center of the country. Yep, I am wondering why it is that I am in Provincetown Mass, way out here at the tip in the Atlantic Ocean having to prepared to deal with a hurricane???

Was in Martha's Vineyard early this week and Nantucket a couple days ago. Cruised up here to P-Town yesterday, and now must prepare for a CAT1 storm. Because I have dealt with hurricane preparations more than once, and don't not assess being out here as being well protected, I will boogie over to Boston in the morning to seek inside harbor protection, (I hope.) Can’t believe I am dealing with a hurricane way the heck up here, Lordy!

Tomorrow morning appears to be my best time to shoot across the 50 miles to Bean Town. Weighed out all options and pros & cons……Con- the fricking weather! Pro- I’m in a 60 Sea Ray Sundancer! That translates to a 1.5 hour run.

Here we go!

Hey captain - weather is great down here in South Florida lol.....hope we can catch up soon - good luck riding out the storm

I’m sure the owner he has you in command of his boat!
Thanks Rusty for all you do!

Hi Rusty, good to see you on here again. Have a safe trip over to Boston. Get her all tucked in and prepped to ride out the storm.

Yes we are wrapping up our tour of Long Island Sound, heading home to the protection of a hurricane barrier and a very strong dock.

We are out on the beach at Watchhill RI and there has been a steady stream of yachts heading west for Long Island Sound and none heading east!

Bummer we will likely miss at least a day or two of our Nantucket run.
