On the hunt for a 06 40 dancer or 05 390. The Black Pearl is going to her new home on Lake Lanier on Friday. Perfer an 06 but may have to settle for an 05 390. We want to buy from an individual to avoid the sales tax, but this is more difficult than we thought. Was wondering if anyone knows or has any friends or dockmates that need or want to sell. The only must is a hardtop. We perfer gas over diesel (inland lake only). Location is not a problem can ship anywhere. Thought we had one bought in Ohio but lost it to another contract. Would like blue hull but not a must, white or pewter will do. Any help give me a email or call my cell. 770-842-4869. Jim

Hmmmm...

Awful tempting. Wish the timing was better for us.

Maybe two or three years too early for us to let ours go. We've not had her a year yet, and had originally thought we would move to a 44 Sedan, but are now looking to stay with the bigger Dancer.

Absolutely love the boat.

Registered, Did you see the 06 44 for sale right now. Asking I think only $239,000, just to big and to much for us right now. We want to stay in our same slip will only hold a 40 barley.

Just bought a 05 390. Loaded, blue hull, dual C-120s, 350 hour Cummins 380s, pristine condition... Not for sale, but I just thought I'd boast :^D

Jim, Where's the '06 44 listed?

We're currently thinking '09 43 or '10 470. I just can't bear the thought of having the same boat badged 4' shorter...

We were close on an '05 390 blue hull on Lake Lanier last Fall. Check the USCG Registry for prior location. It was marketed as a fresh water, but was a repo brought up from Florida and refurbished.

Congrats, almostenuff! Where did you find her? Mine was in Winthrop Hbr previously.

About paying the sales tax......PA uses NADA now to tell you what they want you to pay 6% on! This is a big issue/battle on used car market now....not sure if they are pushing the issue with boats yet. You have to list issues with the vehicle and why it's not worth their NADA number. Just another example how the states are trying to make extra money without earning it, Mike.

Come on guys, don't forget to recommend the boats for sale that are listed on the CSR classifieds too. I've got an excellent condition 2004 390 w/hardtop, bow & stern thrusters, 4-Grp# 31 AGM batteries (2010), new eisenglass (2010), and priced fairly. This is only one year off of what he is looking for and the same as an 05 390.

Thanks

Were you looking at the one for sale in Marblehead? Escapade 2? If not i can try and get you some info on exactly what you are looking for.

Nice boat AAK. How did you like the 1991 350 with 454 V-Drives or the "88 with 350's?...Mike.

My buddy has just decided to put his 08 44 da for sale in NY. It is not listed yet with a broker. PM me if you want contact info.

There is an '07 40DA in Panama City, owned by someone in Nashville, that is supposed to be for sale. Black hull, needs detailing, diesels, canvas has been off all summer so it probably is going to need cockpit vinyl. My guess is that it won't show well on the outside, but the inside is pristine and will go for less than average condition boats...........unless there is a greedy bank or seller involved. The boat isn't listed so I don't have access to any information other than that. I don't sell boats, but will try to get some contact info if you want it.

CV-23

The '91 350 was a great boat. The layout inside is one of the best I've had. The '88 300 was a weekender so it was more of a day boat, but it was good on fuel. If you have any specific questions I'd be glad to answer them.
