Hey All,

I'm looking to find out the thickness of my hull just under the waterline near the stern on the sides. Does anyone have know what it is?

I installed a transducer in my boat. Drilled a hole close to center, just in front of V-drive engines (10 ft from back of boat?) This was my hull.

Hmm ok, yeah I'm thinking about adding some LEDs to the waterline on the sides right at the stern and want to make sure the lights have enough throat on them.

Wow! You will compromise the hull integrity to have lights on the side of your boat? My boat has lights on the transom that I wish the PO had never installed.

the holes are just one single 5/8" on each side so the structural integrity wouldn't come into play I'm sure, I'm not sure if I want to but its a thought. I have been seeing a lot of real high end boats with them on the last 12" of side wall right at the very back before the transom and it makes a really cool spray pattern and is fun at the dock with bait fish also.

These aren't exactly the ones but you get the idea.

Sorry if there's a ad pop in
