Hull polishing

John, All I can say is WOW !! your boat looks very very nice!!
Now if it would only stop raining here. :smt013. Maybe I could do my boat like that.

For polishing the last couple years I've been AMAZED by the results with 3M Extra Cut Compound #06060. I follow that up with some 3M glaze in the cosmetic areas and wax over that. Every year the boat seems to be getting shinier! The Extra Cut Compound is tough enough to remove mild to medium chalking without being too coarse and leaving major swirl marks. It does leave minor swirls that the glaze covers but on a white boat its hard to see.
Compound with a soft wool pad and glaze with a foam waffle pad. Wax applied by hand.

PS: Be careful around deck hardware when using a high speed rotary buffer. It AMAZING how fast things happen when it snags on something. Good luck!
