What plant is SERT?
MM
Mike and Jason
SERV = Tellico located in Vonore, TN.
SERT = Knoxville (corporate HQ)
SERR = Riverview (next door to Knoxville)
When I visited in late 2002 Knoxville was building 280 - 340 DAs along with the 290 Sun Sport. The 290BR may have been in production here as well, but don't recall. Riverview was buiding the 290AJ, 260DA, 270SD and I believe the 180 & 176 BRs.
The USCG changed the numbering scheme as of 8/1/84, so much of what is contained above does not apply to the original posters boat.........for his 1980 model, the last 4 digits are the month and year of vessel certification, not when the boat was manufactured.
