Finally between bad weather and the glass being guy tied up on a big repair we are done .Since my first post hull estimate labor cost.I found another glass guy and got the repair done and at a reasonable cost . the first estimate was way high after having the hull surveyed he suggested i get another estimate and glad i did he fixed everything for less then 1/3 of what the first guy wanted .But thats water under the bridge always get a second estimate . Here are the before and after pictures the one spot we where worried about wasn,t as bad as the little spot in the rear pocket you'll see them in the pictures.Hope to get the barrier coats on and bottom paint this coming weekend and back in the water if the weather is good to us. http://s909.photobucket.com/home/egtransdr album hull repaired

Your missing a screw in the bracket for your swim platform. Was this the cause for the water?

Very interested in other members opinions on the methods of repairs to the pocket corners... I have concerns, but am not as knowledgable about glass work...

Hope you get out on the water soon!!!

This wasn't water infiltration/blistering.
It was voids in the layup, properly ground out and glassed back. No other way to do it.

I mentioned to Ernie that we found voids (smaller ones) in my pockets when sandblasting the bottom for blister repair/barrier coat. The blaster will blow through the gelcoat where there's a void...
Radius areas and corners are prime spots for this to happen if the glass isn't properly wetted out and rolled carefully to eliminate any air bubbles in the laminate.

Thanks for answering that one my thoughts exatly . Not LOL!I'm a mechanic not a glass man .Nor do i wonna try it at least not on a spot under water . The glass guy said the same thing when laying up it wasn't rolled or packed down in the voids .I'll take both your words on that one .
