Hello all.

I'm about to make stands for my SRV220 and I was thinking about making two one-piece designs. To make them as sturdy as possible I'd like to know the and of the hull (the V) in the rear close to the transom and somewhere up front at a suitable place for the front stand. I'll make the stands adjustable but I need to get some ball park figures before I start and since my boat's still in the water it's a little hard for me to measure.

Many thanks.

What I did was took a picture of the Stern staying Level then put the pics on my computer and zoomed in, then I used my sons protractor to get the dead rise angle turned out perfect.

You should be able to get the dead rise angle from sea ray either in a brochure or by calling the company with your vin number on the back if the boat.

They are roughly 20 degrees, however, I would mount the pads so they swivel on a bolt or piece of dowel rod. Then weld them in place once you start to set the boat down on them and can see the exact angle.

agree with getaway,or have a adjustable stand built.Slight increase in cost but if you ever suffer a loss of the boat you still have a stand that is easier to either accomodate a different hull or recoup a bigger percentage of the cost on.
