I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Henry Boyd. When we first bought our boat in Dec '07 there were a few things that needed repair. One being the cockpit sink sprayer. Henry sent me a spare sprayer he had along with the switch cluster on the helm that operates the horn, blower, nav, courtesy and achor lights, wiper, etc. I used the sprayer for a brief time, very thankful for these gifts he could not use any longer.

Fast forward to this Friday of our Labor Day weekend. We drove he 15 mins to our boat garage to pick up the boat and head out. I normally leave the OD down to store and the battery charger on along with the fridge while have shore power there. I went to lift the OD and nothing. Scratched my head for a minute and saw the charger had power and the display read ok, but was off. I turned it on and a low voltage alarm beeped then began to charge. I checked the battery switch and I guess I had it on #1. Well with out he charger on the fridge drew down #1 to 12.1V. Here's the fun part. I went to the helm and pressed the courtesy button on the helm switch cluster....nothing. I tried the other buttons ....nothing. Hmmm I opened the helm looking for blown fuses.....all good. We had a t-storm Wed and I'm wondering if we lost power at the garage and when power was restored for some reason my charger didn't kick back on, but was really wondering why or how it affected the cluster. I figured that must be it. Well I didn't have it , of course, it was at home . So I unhooked the boat, drove home, got the cluster Henry sent me 5+ years ago and drove back. It wasn't that easy the bend my arms in there to replace but I got it installed good enough to head out and I can do a more thorough install next week.

I really want to thank Henry for this fantastic trip and season saving gift. It's much appreciated!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting him. Nice guy.

I was sure it was you? Either way thank you and whoever sent me the cluster.
