The name is Pete, first time boat owner, just picked up a 1975 Sea Ray SRV 240...was looking for something a little smaller but I found this for a deal I couldn't really pass on. I don't know a whole lot about boats but am eager to learn.

Welcome aboard. You did not happen to get this boat from Martin Marine's auction several months ago?

John

Hoof Arted, Pete, Welcome and you are experiencing the hazing by the regulars. Don't be afraid just come on in and post some pics of your canoe. I'm over the mountain here in Hendersonville/Asheville till this spring.

Welcome aboard and happy birthday, Hoo farted!

Welcome to CSR, even though they are messin wit ya, you have found a great place here with a lot of great people that are just as willing to help as they are to pick on you. So come on in, the water is fine.

Welcome aboard

Welcome aboard! Will you be trailering or are you docking it somewhere? If you have questions, just ask. There are some extremely intelligent people on here and they are all willing to help. If you know something, share it with the rest of us. Many people, by sharing knowledge, have saved tons of time and money doing this.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to all of you......My oldest daughter gave birth to my first granddaughter today.

Ok, let's see if I can hit all the answers:

Yes "Hoof Arted" is going to be her name (she didn't have a name)

Yes, I am going to trailer her, I got a really nice aluminum load rite trailer in the deal

No, I just bought her off of an individual in Greeneville, TN, he bought it from Boat Repos.

I have pretty thick skin, so haze away!!! (I am a crime scene photographer)
