I walked in and cast my vote in under a minute at 10 AM. But for chatting with a friend I had not seen in many years, who was volunteering, I would have been in and out in 2 minutes. The machine/scanner spit out an error when I put my ballot in it. Great I thought, here we go again. A volunteer came over, pulled the ballot out and pushed it back in and it went that time.

It's raining here which I think kept all the folks that bug you as you walk in away. It was nice not having them there.

We voted two weeks ago. Ballots were mailed to the house. We surfed the net to read about the judges to the Michigan Supreme Court and about the various props. Took about 10 minutes to read and fill out the forms. We hand delivered the ballots to the clerk. This sure beats standing in line.

I had a pleasant experience. I expected to have to wait for quite some time. However, my husband and I were in the main line, and after a few mins., were instructed to move to the line for name "P-H". This line, to my delight, had 4 people standing in it. Sucked for the people last names "A-G" though :). So, after deciding not to wait in the line for the ONE electronic machine, we were out of there in a grand total of: 15 minutes.
Sorry to those who had to wait hours...

I did the early vote thing. Quick and easy but I'm still amazed at how little info was asked. No ID required at all, and they told everyone the address to verify ourselves! I should have looked in the obituaries for names and addys to cast their votes for them
in my favor, what a joke. Someone had already voted
In my wifes name. Is it too discriminating to require ID or at least your voters reg card these days?? SB

10:00 at the polls, 10:11 out the door. I was only number 91 at my poll. My wife went 30 minutes later and she was #101. Very easy and quick I vote in Indiana and I very worried about the outcome.

First the preliminaries with which, I'm told, all posts should start with...

You're wrong! You're an idiot! And you're ugly, too.

There. Now with that out of the way...

I didn't vote yet. But my wife tried and found a very long line, so we'll go tonight. Nearly everyone (live-in maids and members of the plaintiff's bar probably excepted) in our town is a republican. Since McCain voters vote today and Osama voters vote tomorrow, I can see why there was a long line. I bet there will be no one at our polling place tomorrow. That's how few lefties live here.

Best regards,
Frank

You're an Idiot, you double posted, moron.

I have to wait until tonight, but I drove by my polling place on the way to work and the line was shorter than 2004.

Arrived about 6:30 AM, approx 30 people already there, doors opened at 7:00 AM, outside by 7:20 AM. They had 7 machines set up and 3 were not working.

I am not ugly ;-)

Buggy software. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

At the end of the day I'm going to go home and double vote using the same buggy software.

Under five minutes. Too bad I had a ballot which just had a list of morons on it.
Where they ugly, too? The guys with good hair weren't running this year. Beauticians and barbers wept.

Best regards,
Frank

Oh definitely ugly. A big fat list of ugly morons running unopposed. I did feel good about voting for the purchase of the little league field that was going to be destroyed by the current private owners.

Frank;

In this case you really are wrong. The Democrats vote today. The Republicans vote tomorrow. This is why the place will be empty tomorrow.. . . .

(30 minute wait at 7am. Five machines running. Voter 95)

Voted a week ago this past Saturday, October 25, waited in line for about 45 minutes, now for the next few days...it will be DVD movie time. I am not about to listen to all of the media banter. Whatever happens now will happen, so I do not need to be kept abreast of it.

I overheard enough during lunch from some very left leaning woman announcer, to paraphrase; "It has been the largest group of young voters to ever turn out, this is the group which wants more gov-mint in their life...yada, yada, ad nasuem."

Yes sirree mo gov-mint! gag!
